Marshata Caradine-Randall
Commentator/Writer/Education Advocate/Parent Educator Marshata Caradine-Randall wear hats of that of: a wife, mother, education advocate, writer, activist, doavist, writervist, parent educator and an agitator for ridding education malpractice within our inner cities. Her goal is to use her power of the spoken word to empower, educate, engage, bridge the gaps, infuse, and inspire others where they are to where she knows they should be. She has three beautiful, talented, and educated children who are the reason why she FIGHTS OUT LOUD and HARD to eradicate education malpractice. She has been a devoted substitute teacher for the past 12 years. She is a graduate of EIU (Family and Consumer Science) B.A., and Lindenwood University where she majored in Education M.A.Ed. |
Margaret Flowing Johnson
Margaret Flowing Johnson has been an activist for lesbian rights, feminist issues and peace and justice for over 5 decades in St. Louis. She was a founding member of St. Louis Queer Nation in the late 1980’s and an organizer for a massive lesbian and gay civil disobedience at the Supreme Court of the U. S. in 1987. She is currently active in the St. Louis Black Lives Movement. She retired from St. Louis Community College as a professor of mathematics. |
Lauryn
Lauryn is an 8th grader who became interested in activism at a very early age. She was deeply concerned about the unfair treatment of marginalized groups and closely followed the issues on social media. It quickly became her favorite topic of discussion. She asked school administrators to create a social justice peer group, which became a reality this Fall. She was a student leader at school during a recent organized protest against racism and she's one of a select group of student leaders working together to address racism in their schools. |

De Andrea Nichols
De Andrea Nichols is a St. Louis-based social practice designer and lecturer who helps change makers nationwide actualize creative approaches to social and racial justice issues that matter most to them and their communities. She was named a 2016 Visionary Award recipient for community impact in the city of St. Louis. She is a board member of Forward Through Ferguson and Creative Reaction Lab. |

Even though Treasure Shields Redmond is completing a PhD in English Literature and Criticism, is a published writer, gifted veteran educator, and has spoken on stages all over the U.S. and in Europe, she uses her humble beginnings in the federal housing projects in Meridian, Mississippi to fuel her passion for helping college-bound students write extraordinary college entrance essays, and offering perceptive leaders trustworthy diversity and inclusion facilitation.
